Share a Project with Your Team
Share the full project bundle with teammates.
Use this when
You want to push an entire project — and all its member recordings — into the shared workspace at once, so teammates can open the full bundle without hunting for individual files.
Before you start
- You must be on a Team or Department plan. The option is hidden on Trial and Pro.
- All recordings you want shared must be inside the project before you share. Recordings added to the project after sharing are not automatically included.
- You must be online. The share action writes to the cloud immediately.
Share a project
- Open the Library screen.
- Right-click the project you want to share (or click its context-menu icon).
- Click Share with team.
- The app shares the project metadata and begins uploading each member recording in sequence. A toast appears: *"Project shared with team."*
- Progress for each recording upload appears in the top-bar status pill. Wait for all uploads to finish before asking teammates to download.
What you should see
On the Shared screen, the project card appears immediately. Clicking it expands the project and shows each member recording with its own status chip. Recordings already uploaded on a previous share are skipped — only new or changed files are sent again.
If it does not work
- "Share with team" is not in the menu — your account is on Trial or Pro. Sharing requires a Team or Department plan.
- Toast says "Project sharing failed" — a network error stopped the share. Check your connection and try again. Any recordings that finished uploading before the error are already shared; re-sharing the project is safe and will only re-attempt the ones that failed.
- A member recording shows Failed — see Understand upload, synced, metadata-only, and failed states for next steps.
